Molecular simulations meet data for polymer science

Manchester, United Kingdom. Polymer modelling has lagged behind other materials fields despite advances in computing and machine learning, leaving polymer design largely trial-and-error. This workshop brings together experts to discuss how high-throughput simulations, standardized data representations, and data-driven multiscale modelling can enable effective machine-learning approaches for polymer science.

Summer school on Soft Matter Systems: from fundamentals to Sensory Perception

Cargèse, France. The 2026 Summer School on Soft Matter and Sensory Perception will bring together leading researchers and early-career scientists to explore the links between soft matter physics and sensory experience. The program combines core topics in colloids, polymers, gels, and experimental techniques with insights into touch, texture, and flow perception. A distinctive hands-on component […]

Structure, dynamics and function of biological macromolecules by NMR

Institut de Biologie Structurale 71, avenue des Martyrs, Grenoble, France

Grenoble, France. An intensive, hands-on training course focused on the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy to study the structure, dynamics, and interactions of biological macromolecules (such as proteins and nucleic acids). The course combines theoretical background with practical experience, teaching participants how to set up experiments, process and analyze NMR data, and extract […]

IUPAB International workshop on Biophysics (10th NERKA)

Kotor, Montenegro. Dynamic interplay between the nervous and immune system in neurodegeneration: Biophysico-chemical and innovative aspects This is the 10th School that is traditionally organized every second year in IMBK, Kotor, Montenegro. Every school has a different multidisciplinary topic related to biophysics. This time we want to study neurochemical and neurobiophysical relations in neuroinflammation and […]

NERKA 10: 10th International Biophysics School “Academician Radoslav K. Andjus”

Kotor, Montenegro. International Biophysical School “Academician Radoslav K. Andjus” (NERKA) was established in honor of Professor R.K. Andjus (1926-2003), an internationally recognized scientist from the University of Belgrade, a member of Montenegrin and Serbian academies of sciences and arts, and one of the founders of the Institute for Marine Biology in Kotor.
