Dynamic interplay between the nervous and immune system in neurodegeneration: Biophysico-chemical and innovative aspects
This is the 10th School that is traditionally organized every second year in IMBK, Kotor, Montenegro. Every school has a different multidisciplinary topic related to biophysics. This time we want to study neurochemical and neurobiophysical relations in neuroinflammation and neurodegeneration. Particular attention will be given to innovations in the research field and how to approach translational aspects and marketing. The workshop will be divided in lectures by renown speakers in the field, young researcher presentation, students talks on “What do I do in my real life”, student poster presentations and Panel discussion with Q&A on elected subjects for the faculty. The students will also have the opportunity to learn from hands-on sessions on neurotoxicology, subcellular immunocytochemistry and atomic absorption spectroscopy on neural tissue. The equipment and infrastructure for these experiments are available at IMBK.
The workshop will be held at the Institute for Marine Biology in Kotor. More information and details for registration can be found at the website link below.
