Cargèse, France.
The 2026 Summer School on Soft Matter and Sensory Perception will bring together leading researchers and early-career scientists to explore the links between soft matter physics and sensory experience. The program combines core topics in colloids, polymers, gels, and experimental techniques with insights into touch, texture, and flow perception. A distinctive hands-on component includes tabletop experiments and data analysis sessions. Aimed primarily at PhD students and postdoctoral researchers, the school fosters interdisciplinary exchange and provides tools to address emerging challenges at the interface of soft matter, sensory science, and engineering.
