The yEBSA group is excited to announce the launch of its new monthly online seminar series, designed specifically for early-career researchers. Each session will focus on a key topic in academic and professional development — from career choices and communication skills to paper writing and funding opportunities.
The inaugural seminar, titled “Career Paths in Academia and Beyond”, will take place on 20 November 2025, from 14:20 to 16:00 (CET). Two distinguished speakers will share insights from their professional journeys: Sarah F. Köster will discuss careers in academia (14:30–15:00), while Bruno L. Victor will explore opportunities outside academia (15:15–15:45). Both talks will be followed by time for audience questions and discussion.
A participation link will be sent to registered yEBSA members a few days before the event.
