Nominations are now open for three prestigious prizes supported by the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA), to be presented at the upcoming EBSA Congress in Berlin, 2027. The awards recognize outstanding scientific contributions and include an honorarium, a medal, and an invited lecture by the recipient at the Congress.
- The EBSA Young Investigator Medal and Prize
This prize is aimed at early-stage independent researchers. Member Societies are invited to nominate candidates for this prize, with the winner receiving an honorarium of €2,000, a medal, and will present a lecture at the Congress. More information…
- The Avanti Polar Lipids – EBSA Award
Presented to an investigator for outstanding contributions to our understanding of lipid biophysics. The winner receives an honorarium of US$3,000, a medal, and will deliver a lecture at the Congress. The award is supported by Avanti Polar Lipids. More information…
- The EBSA – NanoTemper Award in Nanobiophysics
Presented to an investigator for outstanding contributions to advancing biophysical methods and their applications in the analysis and characterisation of interacting biological nanosystems.
