DESCRIPTION:The Italian Society for Pure and Applied Biophysics (SIBPA) together with the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (EBSA) and the Protein Society\, and with the support of IUPAB\, is happy to announce the 15th EBSA Congress in Rome\, Italy\, from the 30th of June to the 4th of July 2025. The EBSA2025 Congress will take place at the iconic Palazzo dei Congressi\, located in Piazza John Kennedy\, 1 – Rome (EUR district) just 20 minutes from the main train station via a direct metro line. Registration for the Congress will be open until 23rd of June 2025.

SUMMARY:First Salamanca International Advanced Biophysics and Structural Biology Course
DESCRIPTION:University of Salamanca\, Spain. \nThe University of Salamanca is delighted to host the first Advanced International Course in Biophysics and Structural Biology in the summer of 2025\, targeting graduate and advanced undergraduate students worldwide. Taught in English by renowned international scientists\, the course aims to become an annual hub for cutting-edge research discussions. Morning sessions will feature public seminars\, while intensive practical workshops in the afternoons will be limited to course participants. The inaugural course in 2025 will focus on single molecule studies and biological imaging\, welcoming 22 international students\, with an emphasis on applicants from Spain\, Portugal\, and Latin America. \nThis initiative aims to highlight the university’s role in biophysics and foster future strategic collaborative projects and faculty hires. It will bring together experts in the fields of cryo-EM\, single molecule studies and super resolution microscopy\, fostering the exchange of ideas and discussion on the latest advancements in biophysics and structural biology. Attending this congress will not only provide the opportunity to learn about the most recent research but also facilitate networking among participants.
