7 September – 18 September CEST
Munich, Germany.
The workshop “Thermodynamics and Kinetics of Chemical Reaction Networks: From Cell Metabolism to Design Principles for Synthetic Life” (7–18 September 2026, Munich) focuses on understanding how energy and thermodynamic constraints shape complex biochemical networks in living systems. It brings together theorists and experimentalists from physics, biology, and synthetic life to explore topics such as stochastic thermodynamics, metabolic networks, and non-equilibrium dynamics, with the goal of uncovering fundamental design principles of life-like systems.
Registration & practical info: The workshop follows a long-stay format (2 weeks) to encourage deep collaboration and interaction Participation is limited to around 40 participants per week
Funding / support: The organizers provide partial financial support, including a contribution to local costs (€80/day) and assistance with accommodation
