Let’s start the Young Section of the European Biophysical Societies’ Association (yEBSA)!
We would like to initiate a young EBSA group to provide a platform for young biophysicists across Europe to collaborate, exchange ideas, and contribute to the growth of the biophysics community.
In this satellite meeting around the EBSA congress we want to meet with as many young biophysicists as possible to initiate the Y-EBSA, discussing Y-EBSA’s goals and structure.
Besides the initiation of yEBSA, two sessions in this meeting will provide essential knowledge for navigating the diverse landscape of scientific careers, both in academia and beyond. Senior scientists and professionals from various sectors—academia, industry, and private enterprises— will present their career paths and pass on their tips to young scientists. European organizations are invited to highlight funding opportunities at different stages of the academic career.

There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions during the sessions.
Additionally, in social events participants will be encouraged to mingle, and build a professional network.
