Please note: Unauthorised housing services contacting EBSA participants

We have been informed that a company called EHS is contacting participants of the EBSA conference, claiming to have an arrangement with EBSA to organise housing for delegates of the conference.

Please note that the EBSA conference organisation is NOT associated with EHS by any means and has no agreement with them whatsoever. We have NOT contracted any housing provider to call our participants. Although the bookings seem to be implemented with the hotels as desired, we recommend you to not return their calls / emails and to not book any hotel rooms with them. This is a fraud aiming at making money by charging additional service fees once a booking is confirmed.

If you have any doubt regarding a request concerning the EBSA conference, please feel free to contact info@ebsa2015.org in order to have the genuineness approved.

Accommodation

Rooms for conference delegates have been reserved at special rates at some Dresden hotels. The prices are per room and night including breakfast and 19% German VAT. Please note that the prices mentioned below were only guaranteed until Mai 15, 2015. Hence, prices charged by the hotels after this date might differ from those stated below. All mentioned hotels are located near to the conference venue or in the city center and well connected by public transport.

From July 1, 2015, the city of Dresden will levy an accommodation tax on the overnight rate for private travelling. Business travellers are exempt from this tax but have to provide a confirmation from their employer that they are travelling for professional reasons. Please find a template here.

Please note: Due to many other events which will take place in Dresden at the same time as EBSA 2015, we highly recommend an early hotel reservation. Please contact the hotel directly by referring to the code “EBSA 2015”.
