The registration fee includes:

• access to all scientific sessions and industrial exhibition
• abstract book and congress bag
• lunches and coffee-breaks during the congress
• Welcome Reception, Congress Dinner and Farewell Cocktail

* The early rate only applies if the registration fee is PAID BEFORE midnight (CET 23:59 h) on April 15, 2015. If the fee is not paid in due time, registrations will be changed automatically to the late rate.

** Students (undergraduate and postgraduate) need to provide a full proof of their status, to the Conference Secretariat by email info@ebsa2015.org or fax: +49 351 4956 116, i.e. a scanned copy of their current student card and/or a letter from a Professor or Head of Department (including contact details) to confirm the student status at the time of the conference. Postdoctoral research fellows are NOT entitled to receive the reduced student fee.

*** Day tickets are available at the registration desk for all congress days. They do not include the Congress Dinner. The student discount does not apply for day tickets.

General Terms and Conditions

Registration
The registration to the 10th European Biophysics Congress (EBSA 2015) is solely possible via the online registration form. Everyone who wants to attend must register online. By receiving the online registration, the contract between K.I.T. Group and the participant is legally binding. The Conference Secretariat K.I.T. Group is authorized to act on behalf of the conference organiser.

The participant will receive an official confirmation of registration/invoice from K.I.T. Group in written form. The conference fees and the cost of other booked items must be paid in due time as stated on the invoice. For applying for the early registration fee, payment in full must be made before midnight (CET 23:59 h) on April 15, 2015. Otherwise, the Conference Secretariat will change the registration to the late registration fee and send a new invoice. All conference fees must be fully paid prior to the conference.

The registration fees are collected by the Conference Secretariat K.I.T. Group GmbH Dresden on behalf of the German Biophysical Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Biophysik e.V.) without German VAT.

Payment can be made by credit card or by bank transfer. Any bank charges have to be paid by the participant. If the conference fees have not been paid until the beginning of the conference, they need to be paid on-site in cash or by credit card. Cheques cannot be accepted.

Cancellation of registration
In case of cancellation of the registration or cancellation of single bookings received

• before midnight (CET 23:59 h) on April 15, 2015 no cancellation fee applies
• after midnight (CET 23:59 h) on April 15, 2015 and on or before midnight (CET 23:59 h) on June 30, 2015 a cancellation fee of € 50.00 applies.
• No refund will be given for cancellations made after midnight (CET 23:59 h) on June 30, 2015 and the claim for the full payment of all registration fees remains, respectively.

In case of cancellations due to denied VISA applications, the full registration fee minus a processing fee of € 50.00 will be refunded after having received a proof of the rejection from the corresponding embassy via e-mail, mail or fax. All registration changes and cancellations have to be communicated to K.I.T. Group in written form, i.e. via email, mail or fax.

Optional Tours: If the attendance at one of the social program items is below 20, the organizer reserves the right to cancel it. In this case, participants will be informed in due time and will receive a full refund of the paid fees.

Insurance
The registration fee does not include insurance of any kind. The organizers cannot accept any responsibility or liability for injuries or losses sustained as a result of any cancellations, accidents, illness or other occurrences that may arise in connection with the conference or its evening events. Participants are advised to organize appropriate travel and health insurance themselves.

Liability
K.I.T. only acts as mediator and is not liable for any losses of things, in accidents, destructions and damages of property and/or in the injury of persons, the reason does not matter. Participants and accompanying persons participate in all conference events on their own risk.

Place of Fulfilment
The court of jurisdiction is Dresden. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.
If not specified otherwise, CET applies for all dates and times mentioned in regard with the EBSA congress 2015.
